Finally… Ricky Gervais, who never fails to entertain at awards shows, has been given the honor of hosting the Golden Globes awards in January.

Look for Ricky Gervais to rock the 67th Annual Golden Globes on January 17. Nominations will be announced December 15.

Ricky Gervais commented on the hosting job, saying, “Not only is this the biggest Hollywood celebration of the industry, which includes both film and TV, but also an environment where I feel I can get free reign as a host. I have resisted many other offers like this, but there are just some things you don’t turn down.”

Ricky Gervais has won four Emmys and three Golden Globes.
