Regis Philbin has just signed on to host a new version of the classic quiz show game “Password,” entitled “Million Dollar Password” on CBS.

“Million Dollar Password” will combine and modernize elements of three past “Password” programs: the original, “Password Plus” and “Super Password.” In this latest version, two teams — made up of one celebrity and one contestant — will compete to uncover secret passwords during the first round of the game. The winning team will then have the option of risking their money in a million-dollar bonus round.
