Pushing Daisies
ABC’s new television show, Pushing Daisies asks the age-old question: if you could bring someone back, who would it be, and what would you ask?
Pushing Daisies revolves around Ned (played by Lee Pace) who has what could be called the gift of life. When he touches something that’s dead, he can bring it back to life. So what does this character do? Well, he makes pies, with fruit that he’s touched, so they retain their freshness and flavor. That all changed when a Private Investigator, Emerson Cod, tries to get him to bring people back to life, so she can find out who their killer was.
Then, Ned’s childhood sweetheart, Charlotte “Chuck” Charles is murdered on a cruise ship. She helps him solve the crime and then… he can’t send her back. Instead, Chuch joins Ned and Emerson in their work. So, while it sounds like it could be really sweet and all – the problem is if he touches her, she’ll die again, or rather, just go back.
Catch the show on Wednesdays at 8/7c on ABC.
