Portia de Rossi Changing to Ellen DeGeneres’ Last Name
Portia de Rossi will soon be Portia DeGeneres, after filing a petition to legally change her name to Portia Lee James DeGeneres in L.A. County Superior Court last week.
TMZ.com reports that Portia de Rossi listed the following reason: “Petitioner is taking the last name of her spouse.”
de Rossi’s name change won’t be official until a September 23 hearing.
Portia and Ellen were married on August 17, 2008.
