The search for a Paula replacement on “Idol” is underway – but who will replace Paula Abdul as the fourth judge on American Idol?

There are definitely plans to find a Paula replacement on American Idol, as Peter Rice, the chairman for entertainment at Fox Broadcasting, told folks at the Television Critics Association on Thursday that they will seek out a replacement fourth judge rather than returning to just three judges.

In the meantime, Victoria Beckham (”Posh Spice) and Katy Perry are serving as fourth judge replacements for Paula Abdul during the audition rounds.

But how can you replace Paula, you ask? Fox is looking for “someone who has great chemistry. It’s really a casting job… Our job in the next four to five months is to really consider what makes this the most fun and the most entertaining.”

Paula always sat in the middle so she could and did oftentimes parrot randy’s comments, afraid to form an original opinion because she was in no position to judge. Reason being:, she never really sang on her records or she would have , because of ego, been more than happy to exhibit acapella, which she never did, The greats do it all the time: michael, whitney, celine, mariah, luther. Even though I am not a great fan of hers, Cyndi Lauper would be a great addition as a judge. At least she is authentic in every sense. Paula won’t be missed, She had no choice but to be nice to contestants. In her singing career, she was the female equivalent of Milli Vanilli, except, she never got caught. Her career on the whole is based more on timing than talent. It is not that hard to put together dance moves. I’ve done it, a marching band director or drum major does it. Kara sounded real singing, Paula did not. Kara should have stayed out of the writing of the winner’s song and let the songwriting competition stand, her entry was memorable for being awful.
