Working for Paula Abdul “ain’t” easy. The “American Idol” judge has swept through eleven publicists in the last few years, and in the week since that leaked telephone breakdown with her PR Team P.A has run through three publicists.

According to celeb tattles: “Abdul has not had one but three publicists in the last three weeks (first Bragman, then David Brokaw, who dropped the Idol judge quickly, and now, her longtime friend Jeffrey Ballard…”

Paula hires and fires an average of one assistant every ten days, according to snitching whisperers.

“If you want to be Paula’s publicist,” one source says, “you have to spend hours on the phone with her—literally—listening to her cry, or else she will think you don’t love her.”

“She’s whacked,” another mole goes on. “Nothing makes her happy, and she never feels like she’s getting the attention she deserves. She always blames everyone for everything.”
