Dancing with the Stars is planning a Patrick Swayze tribute during the September 23 results show.

Dancing with the Stars executive producer, Conrad Green said of the DWTS Patrick Swayze tribute, “We have some very fond memories of [Swayze] coming to help us out when we were a tiny little show way back when.”

Patrick Swayze appeared on Dancing with the Stars’ first season in 2005, helping out contestant John O’Hurley during his rehearsal and even attending the finale for that season.

Green also said of Swayze, “He was one of the few people to integrate dance with being an A-list actor. He inspired many people and many of our pros to dance. We want to honor the great moments he’s brought to film by getting our dancers to do their interpretation to some music from his films.”

In this Dancing with the Stars video clip from the second season, Dirty Dancing is recreated by the pros to “I’ve Had the Time of My Life.”
