
With the success of Jo Frost’s “Supernanny,” ABC is creating a male nanny reality series spinoff titled “Supermanny.”
A pilot episode of “Supermanny” will air in the fall – you can expect the same format as “Supernanny,” but with a male perspective, provided by Chicago child therapist Mike Ruggles.
Executive producer Nick Emmerson said, “With a guy, he can connect with dads in a different kind of way. It’s really powerful stuff.”

Jessica Simpson is moving into the beer business. Thankfully, she won’t be hawking her own label, rather acting as spokeswoman for Stampede Light Plus, made by Dallas’ Stampede Brewing Co.
Jessica Simpson will appear in store ads for Stampede Light Plus beer and has a 15 percent stake in the brewer.
Jessica Simpson released a statement that said, in part, that she’s “always looking for ways to diversify my portfolio with good ideas and good people.”

It’s always fun to see celebrities turn up on game shows – and this season of “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?” offers up plenty of celebs: Jennie Garth, Gene Simmons, Star Jones, Dean Cain, Kathy Ireland, Sugar Ray Leonard, Jack Hanna and Jeopardy! winner Ken Jennings. Look for Kathy Ireland along with Kathy Cox, Georgia’s superintendent of schools, to compete in the two-hour season premiere on September 5.

Michael Phelps also plans to grace the box of Kellogg’s Corn Flakes and Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes – due to hit stores in mid-September.

Grey’s Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes says of Katherine Heigl’s character, “Izzie’s got a love story -– and it’s a big one, one that I’ve been kicking around in my head for a bit, one that required me to take a huge leap of faith in myself, one that is so secret that I have not told anyone. Not the writers, not anyone.”

Could it be true? Could The Hills be coming to an end soon? Star Lauren Conrad told the New York Post’s Pop Wrap, “The show is definitely reaching its end.
