Today’s Oprah show (November 26) offered up Oprah’s 2008 list of favorite things – this year, she focused on the cheap, with gift ideas that are rich in thoughtfulness but budget friendly.

Oprah said of her 2008 favorite things show: “Bringing real meaning back to the holidays is my favorite thing.”

Homemade gift ideas were offered up as well as a special Holiday Hits 2008 CD mix – which Oprah is offering as a free download at her site, Oprah.com. The 2008 Holiday Mix features Faith Hill, Tony Bennett, Josh Groban and others.
