When you’re Oprah Winfrey, you can do things like make a secret visit to South Africa. Although, if you’re Oprah Winfrey, it won’t be a secret for long.

Oprah traveled to South Africa on Sunday, visiting her Leadership Academy Girls School, which you may recall made news recently when a 12-year-old student at the school claimed a staff person had abused her.

Among the meetings during Oprah’s visit to South Africa was a two-hour session with the girl, her mother and father. The father, whose name was not revealed, said, “I appreciate that Oprah took time to listen… I am very happy and pleased that Oprah heard our side of the story. We have closure.”
