Despite persistent rumors, Helio Castroneves, winner of last season’s Dancing With the Stars, insists there was never any romance between him and dance partner Julianne Hough. Their on-screen chemistry was undeniable and they even kissed at the end of a dance, but it was all for show. He said that his heart was very much taken with his fiancee, who ended their engagement the day after he won the competition. He blames his absence for such a long period of time for raising doubts in their relationship but says there was never anything more than friendship and dancing with Julianne.

Ah well, at least we have Mario and Karina!
