Nick Lachey to Executive Produce Fame Reality Show

Just for the record, I loved the 80s movie and show “Fame” — and Nick Lachey is bringing it to television again. Sort of.
Okay, so it’s a reality show, but it centers on students at the School for Creative and Perorming Arts in Cincinnati. Nick Lachey’s new Fame-inspired reality show will air on MTV.
So it’s not the famed NYC Fame school, but Sarah Jessica Parker and Carmen Electra are alums of the Cincinnati school.
Tony DiSanto, executive VP of series development and programming at MTV said, “The stories and relationships are all set to music that’s organic to what’s going on in the school and also performed by the kids. This is a genre-busting, creative experiment that I’m really excited about.”
