Not like Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo are in the news much for anything lately… but now comes word that the former boybander and the former MTV VJ have split. A source confirms the break up to Us Weekly, saying, “It was an amicable break-up. They walk away from it still friends…They still care about each other very much. This is what’s best for both of them.”

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo have been together since 2006, when she met him on his music video shoot for “What’s Left of Me.”
