‘Hogan Knows Best’ star Nick Hogan was involved in serious car crash in Florida on Sunday night when the Toyota Supra he was driving careened off the road and struck a palm tree. He is in serious condition.

The car was traveling at a high rate of speed at approximately 7:30 p.m., Clearwater Police spokesman Wayne Shelor said. According to CBS Bollea and an unidentified male passenger were extricated from the car by the jaws of life paramedics, Shelor said. Then they were airlifted to Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg.

“His car inexplicably left the road,” Clearwater Police spokesman Wayne Shelor told reporters, “and it was totally destroyed upon impact.” The cause of the crash is unknown, although police believe the car was traveling at a high rate of speed. “We don’t know exactly what happened,” says Shelor, “but we are investigating.”

A hospital source, says Nick’s wrestler dad, Hulk Hogan, and his family are in a private waiting room as Nick is being treated for “very serious, life-threatening” injuries.
