Nancy O’Dell, Jewel Drop Out of Dancing with the Stars

Looks like those rumors that Holly Madison would replace Jewel on Dancing with the Stars are true after all. Both Jewel and Access Hollywood host Nancy O’Dell have dropped out of DWTS due to injury.
Guess it’s pretty serious for doctors to pull both women from the competition – Jewel has fractured the tibia in both her legs, while Nancy O’Dell tore the meniscus in her knee.
Jewel said of dropping out: “When the doctors told me my injuries were so severe that I couldn’t walk — let alone compete — I was devastated that I couldn’t continue.”
Nancy O’Dell commented, “Beyond disappointment doesn’t even being to describe how I feel about not being able to continue on Dancing with the Stars. It has been one of my favorite shows since Season One! But I have torn the meniscus in my knee in two places, which requires surgery.”
Dancing is dangerous, folks.
