I like the idea of MTV’s new reality/singing competition — “Rock the Cradle.” Instead of known C and D-List celebrities competing for the title of best singer, we get to see how the sons and daughters of famous singers do. Hey, singing should be in their blood, right?

“Rock the Cradle” premieres on MTV on April 3 at 10 PM and includes the following celeb-u-spawn:

  • Jesse Blaze Snider, son of Dee Snider
  • Lucy Walsh, daughter of the Eagles‘ Joe Walsh
  • Lara Johnston, daughter of Tom Johnston of the Doobie Brothers
  • A’keiba Burrell-Hammer, M.C. Hammer’s daughter
  • Landon Brown, Bobby Brown’s son
  • Lil Al B Sure, R&B singer Al B Sure’s son
  • Jesse Money, Eddie Money’s daughter
  • Crosby Loggins, Kenny Loggin’s son
  • Chloe Rose Lattanzi, Olivia Newton John’s daughter
