I really don’t understand the appeal of “Jackass” — but then again, I don’t laugh when someone gets nailed in the nads on “America’s Funniest Home Videos” either.

Anyway, “Jackass” is taking over MTV for 24 hours — starting at noon on February 23 through noon on the 24th… and Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O and the gang are all on board.

Among the rumored stunts are a wiener-eating contest and night vision dodgeball, as well as one that left Johnny Knoxville with an injury sure to make any guy reading this cringe.

Johnny Knoxville was rushed to the hospital after attempting a motorcycle flip — the stunt nearly cost him his testicles. Is that worth good television?

Johnny Knoxville wrote on his blog:

“I’ve just got back from Oklahoma where I was shooting ‘Mat Hoffman’s tribute to Evel Knievel.’ I had a ball, too, even though I almost lost my own balls in the process!

I don’t want to give too much away because it doesn’t air until February 23, but let’s just say before I did a back-flip on a motorcycle I should have learned how to ride one first.

I have to go now. I have to empty the p**s bag on my leg that I have to wear for the next two weeks until my torn urethra heals.”
