Looks like Miley Cyrus is trying to put a little distance between herself and her Disney Channel alter ego Hannah Montana — with the release of a solo album that is just Miley Cyrus tunes.

The new Miley Cyrus solo CD will be released July 22, including one song (”7 Things”) co-written by Miley. You may have already heard “7 Things,” but if not, listen to “7 Things” here.
