L.A. County coroner’s officials determined that Michael Jackson’s death was a homicide, with lethal levels of the anesthetic propofol and a combination of other drugs administered by his doctor, Conrad Murray, found in Jackson’s body.

Michael Jackson’s family issued a statement reading: “The Jackson family has full confidence in the legal process, and commends the ongoing efforts of the L.A. County Coroner, the L.A. District Attorney and the L.A. Police Department. The family looks forward to the day that justice can be served.”

On June 25, Dr. Murray gave Jackson 25 milligrams of propofol mixed with other sedatives after Jackson took valium, lorazepam, midazolam and other drugs to get to sleep.

The court document reports: “Toxicology analysis shows Michael Jackson had lethal levels of propofol in his blood.”
