Martha Stewart Blog: Dog Ghengis Khan Dies in Propane Explosion Fire

Sad news for Martha Stewart, as she posts in her The Martha Blog: her chow chow dog, Ghengis Khan, died in a propane explosion fire at the kennel he was staying at in northeastern Pennsylvania.
Martha Stewart posted pictures of her puppy on the blog, saying she’s “deeply saddened” by his death. The explosion/fire happened Friday at the Pazzazz Pet Boarding kennel in the Pocono Mountains.
Fifteen dogs were killed in the explosion, with two others passing away over the weekend.
The explosion happened during a propane delivery – the tank ignited due to a spark or static electricity, say officials. The driver was critically burned, but has been upgraded to stable condition.
