Martha Plimpton is heading to Grey’s Anatomy as a guest star in a multi-episode story line. Plimpton will play the mother of a young patient, beginning in the Grey’s Anatomy season premiered on September 24.

Martha Plimpton has also guest starred on ER and received a Tony nomination this year for “Pal Joey.”
