If you thought you were the only person confused by the Digital Television Conversion, you should know you aren’t alone. While most of the early analog-cutoff switch has gone smoothly, one Missouri man found it incredibly difficult.

A station in Minneapolis-St.Paul is reporting that a 70-year-old man was arrested and charged with ‘unlawful discharge of a firearm’ after he shot (and killed) his television. The Police, responding to reports of shots being fired, found the elderly gentleman incredibly angry that he had lost his cable and that he couldn’t get his new DTV converter box to work.

The man’s wife is reporting that he had been drinking.
