Okay, after last night’s epic Lost episode, we have so little time left with the characters… but wait, there’s more! A half hour more of the Lost series finale, to be exact.

ABC has agreed to extend the Lost series finale by an extra half hour to try and squeeze in all the extra goodies they can, so be aware that now Lost’s finale will air Sunday, May 23 from 9:00 to 11:30 p.m.

This, naturally, will bump the local news and now the special “Jimmy Kimmel Live: Aloha to Lost” will air at 12:05 a.m.

And news from executive producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof – they completed post-production of the Lost series finale, titled “The End” on Monday, with both tweeting: “We’re done. Amen.”

There are loads of Lost goodies for fans on finale weekend, so plan accordingly: ABC will air the enhanced “pop up” version of Lost’s two-hour pilot on May 22. On May 23, tune in for a two-hour retrospective titled “Lost: The Final Journey,” and then the super-sized series finale and Kimmel’s post-show special.
