Lost Four Toed Statue Revealed on Episode 8, Season 5: LaFleur (Picture)

How cool to finally catch a glimpse of the four toed statue in its entirety (well, the backside, anyway) in last night’s Lost “LaFleur” episode 8 (season 5). Check out the picture of the Lost statue… and let the theory guessing begin!
Most believe the Lost statue to be Egyptian, and likely the face on the other side will not be human. A lot of people are pointing to Anubis, as seen in this picture, the jackal-headed Egyptian god of the dead.
Some statues of Anubis have him holding or wearing an Ankh necklace in his right hand, with some holding a staff in the other hand.
An Ankh necklace that belonged to Paul was part of the “LaFleur” Lost episode. The symbol means “eternal life.”
