LaToya Jackson to join “Dancing With the Stars?” Serious discussions are underway, rumor has it. But will LaToya Jackson join Dancing with the Stars? Or is just the latest DWTS casting gossip to make the rounds?
A source told Usmagazine.com “[La Toya is] in serious discussions to join the show.”
LaToya Jackson’s rep didn’t deny that serious discussions about Dancing with the Stars were in the works, commenting: “She’s a big fan of the show, and being from a musical family, it would be a good fit.”

I think LaToya would be great. She is the only Jackson with any personality and her new album Startin Over is a fantastic showcase of her vocals, writing and production style. It would be a great opportunity to show off her dancing skills as well. Janet with her Minnie Mouse voice, sexual lyrics and prepubescent whispering in interviews is a manufactured bore. The producers know Toy is a celebrity who will bring in viewers. I hope she accepts their offer, and I’ll be watching eagerly each week.
