Wow, I had to do a double-take when I read that “Curb Your Enthusiasm” star (and “Seinfeld” creator) Larry David has been cast in Woody Allen’s upcoming (and untitled) film. While plot details are unknown, Evan Rachel Wood will co-star and shooting will begin in New York City in the spring.

The latest Woody Allen film buzz is “Vicky Cristina Barcelona,” however, which he shot in Spain — it’s getting a lot of attention because of a steamy lesbian kissing scene between Scarlett Johansson and Penelope Cruz.

A New York Post source is quoted as saying, “It is also extremely erotic. People will be blown away and even shocked. Penelope and Scarlett go at it in a red-tinted photography dark room, and it will leave the audience gasping.”

I’m already gasping just thinking about it. And almost as shocked that Larry David will appear in a Woody Allen movie.
