L Word Spinoff to Star Leisha Hailey
News of an L Word spinoff has been swirling for some time – but Showtime has now picked its leading lady: L Word star Leisha Hailey.
Leisha Hailey has played Alice on The L Word since 2004. Shooting for The L Word spinoff pilot (as yet untitled) will take place in December.
The final (sixth) season of The L Word will run in January, making way for the spinoff.
