Kristen Wiig is set to host the upcoming Saturday Night Live/SNL Christmas special… as Gilly. In the words of SNL Weekend Update’s Seth and Amy: “Really???!??!??!”

I like Kristen Wiig, but Gilly has never gotten much more out of me than a giggle.

Wiig will host the two-hour special, called “SNL Presents: A Very Gilly Christmas” on December 17 at 8 p.m.

Classic holiday SNL sketches will be featured as well as new skits with Gilly.

Look for appearances by Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin, who will introduce clips, including the ever-popular “NPR’s Delicious Dish and the Schweddy Balls.”
