A Keifer Sutherland/Brooke Shields excuse is the latest buzz over why Kiefer Sutherland would headbutt fashion designer Jack McCollough. But Brooke Shields doesn’t agree.

Apparently, Kiefer Sutherland got pissed because Jack McCollough bumped into Brooke Shields, causing her to fall to the ground at the Met Gala Monday night… and didn’t apologize. They exhanged words and Sutherland drove it home with a headbutt!

A Kiefer Sutherland, Brooke Shields defense isn’t how Brooke’s rep says it went down, saying, “nothing happened to her” and that “Jack did nothing inappropriate. It’s not clear what caused Kiefer to do what he did.”

TMZ.com is reporting that Kiefer Sutherland was drunk at the time of the incident.
