Ken Ober Confirmed Dead; Ken Ober Death Not a Hoax
Well folks… we were holding out hope that news of Ken Ober’s death was merely the latest celebrity hoax – but sadly, it’s been confirmed that Ken Ober is dead. Ober was 52.
Ken Ober, best known as the host of MTV’s Remote Control, died on Sunday, reportedly found in his apartment. The cause of death is not yet known, but Mark Measures, an agent at Abrams Artists who worked with him, confirmed the sad news.
Other sources are reporting that Ken Ober’s reps have confirmed his death.
More recently, Ken Ober worked as a writer and producer on Comedy Central’s “Mind of Mencia,” as well as working as a consulting producer on “The New Adventures of Old Christine” in 2006.
