I think Kate is and always has been a fantastic mom. She is in a situation most of us can’t imagine. Why she has become such a punching bag for the public to judge and beat is beyond me. Kate has worked always with the best of intentions, no one is perfect but I say for being surrounded by cameras she’s pretty damn close! Good for you Kate for sticking with your values, women everywhere should be uniting and standing in your defense not looking to scratch your eyes out. I think the interviewer was so obviously looking to put Kate down but Kate naturally responded every time with such class. Be proud Kate, your kids are lucky to have you.

I stumbled on the Kate Plus Eight episode tonight, dealing with Kate’s burdensome plight while on Dancing With the ‘Stars’(?). I think they should rename the show “All About Kate”. It was nothing more than a network’s attempt to give their ‘star’ a pulpit from which to peddle her version of the truth (kind of like selling snake oil), so they might squeeze another year of profits from the dying family which they helped destroy. Seriously, what sort of person would watch this drivel on a regular basis? I guess there is always the “I love to hate” crowd.

Truthfully, I stopped watching the show (and the network) last year when it became obvious that everything was about the mighty $$$, both with Kate and TLC. It sickens me that TLC would stoop to such levels just to make a buck, with total disregard of the lives involved. It doesn’t shock me that Kate would.

I loved how they paraded their line-up of character witnesses all staunchly siding with the victim, Kate. What kind of show would present such a whitewash? And who were these friends? Sounds like much of her old/original friends and family have left or been kicked off this unstable ship. Remember, O.J. Simpson has friends too, but you have to wonder what kind of people they are as well.

I remember from the first year how I would yell at the TV, “John… run! Get on a bus, a train a bike, whatever it takes… RUN!!! GET AWAY from that woman!”… But then there were the kids. Do I think he is a saint? No way in Hell, Jane… but I would pin a medal on his chest for enduring the time he spent with her.

… and now two more “Kate” shows on the way. Says something about our country, huh?

Anyway, that was 20 minutes of my life I will never get back, a mistake I won’t make twice.

Natalie Morales is a Bitch. I do not think kate is perfect but wow. try and conduct a proffesional interview!

I feel that Natalie Morales did a horrible job with this interview. The role of an interviewer is to be impartial and ask questions and get true answers. At first she was fine, but about half way through the interview she stopped asking questions and started putting an accusatory twist on them It doesn’t matter if you like Kate or not, there is no way that you can say that that was a well conducted interview!

I saw the full interview on TLC and was shocked at how Kate was treated. Who the hell doe Natalie think she is! Kate tried to raise 8 kids with some lazy loser, who if you didn’t smack and boss him around he probably couldn’t even whip his own ass. How pathetic! If I was Kate and Natalie had the nerve to keep telling me that I put myself in harms way and the tabloids. That is BS. anyone on TV has people following them! Plus what does she not understand one salary wont even keep a roof over the kids heads. Natalie should be drilling John on why he doesn’t plan on getting a job and why he is doing all these interviews. He deserves NOTHING.

Kate should be able to have the show if she wants too. It is obvious John is a money hungry jerk. And Natalie is probably just jealous because no one is tabloiding about her.

I think everyone should give kate a break….. she gave up her job, is raising 8 kids, going thru a horrible divorce, and sees her STILL husband off with a girl that portrays her self as a trashy girl that i would never even let close to my daughter…. kate is a strong women! jon says he hates the media, well stop doing dumb stuff to attract them…. you are a father act like one…do you want your kids when they get older to shame you for acting there age at that time! you also say that your home and kate is off doing her book! thats how she is making money to raise her family… how do you think she feels when you leave for new york and go to work…. put yourself in your shoes, and stop pulling the pity card out! grow up and act like the man you so happen to want to be!

I just think people should give Kate a break. 8 kids must be tough, no matter if you have help or not. She admitted to her poor treatment of Jon, but he spoke to her poorly as well, or um DOTTY did you forget that part? He started Partying with college girls, left his wife and kids….ya, what a champion parent. She has empathy, do you know her? been with her ever? get your facts straight. Just cuz she is not mushy doesn’t mean anything. People have different personalities. DEAL with it. Giving Jon the thumbs up to get out is really sick. Jon was a total lame duck.

Something that everyone has to remember, including the Gosselins’. Noone has control of what goes on in our lives, but we do have control of the way we react to the experiences, good and bad. People make mistakes, everyone deserves a second chance to do things differently.

i had 4 children in 5 years so i understand the stress she is under raising and providing for them. Boo hoo that Jon felt the pressure and made HORRIBLE choices. Everyone calling her names has not walked in her shoes so stop throwing stones at her. Sure she snapped at him but he often HAD to be told what to do and when to do it. He felt like she treated him like a child?!! Well he often pouted and stood waiting to be told what to do. How come everything was fine when he went to work and she stayed home? She was able to provide more income than he was bringing in, so all the power to her for that. Most people, given the same opportunity to film a clean, fun show with their kids and get PAID for it, would have done the same thing she did. Keep your chin up Kate, you are a great mother and provider. Karma will happen and Jon already knows that . Just watch him scramble to try and win over new fans. He now needs the money that he took away from his so called “epiphany” moment. You only get one shot at being a parent so start rectifying your mistakes Jon. A HAPPY HOME PRODUCES HAPPY,WELL ADJUSTED CHILDREN. THINK OF THEM FIRST BEFORE YOURSELF!
