Kate Gosselin Book Postponed - "Love is in the Mix: Making Meals Into Memories"
Kate Gosselin’s book is postponed – “Love is in the Mix: Making Meals into Memories,” which was due to land on shelves in November has been pulled while the family continues to work through their issues.

News that Kate Gosselin’s book was postponed accompanies word that Jon and Kate Gosselin have finally decided to avoid the media for awhile and work through the details of their divorce privately.

Jon and Kate Gosselin issued a statement yesterday, saying, “During this very difficult time we will be working to focus solely on the needs of our family. This includes no longer commenting publicly or reacting to media stories and speculation. Our goal is to do the very best for our children and that will be done as privately as possible. We appreciate the understanding, support and well wishes from so many. Thank you.”

This private approach and the book “Love is in the Mix: Making Meals Into Memories” being postponed comes behind news of a hiatus for new Jon & Kate Plus 8 until August.

If only they had done this privacy thing years ago.

Christian publisher Zondervan decided to postpone Kate Gosselin’s book, “Love Is in the Mix: Making Meals Into Memories,” either to give the family time together before pulling Kate onto another promotional tour, or because selling a book that touted “an inside look at one of America’s most close-knit families” just didn’t quite fit with the family going through a very public divorce.

Jon & Kate has been one of my favorite shows for quite some time now and I am sorry to say that I am so sad to hear that they are breaking up!
I know some people do not approve of the fact that they are sharing there story on tv. But that is life people. Things arent always pretty and perfect in real life. I am happy that Jon and Kate have decided to keep on with the show even throught this difficult time. Isnt that how it is in real life.. you divorce and you still have to face the music.. family gatherings, friends you use to share with your partner.. being alone with your kids.. all of that is real things that people have to face but this is three times worse because Jon and Kate are doing it in front of the whole world.. Give them a break! I am sure Kate did not plan for Jon to fall into a mid life crises so early.. but I gotta give it to her she looks great!
But anyway it is understandable for her to not relase her book right now since all of this drama is still unfolding… hopefully they will get a media break at this sensitive time…since the world is focusing on the death of an Icon “Michael Jackson”. R.I.P.

Please People stop and think about what you are saying! You are condemning a family for doing the only thing that could think of at the time -create a show that would enable them the money to live with a family that large.

Aside from who is right and who is wrong, are we not making it worse by creating fictious stories about a real family that is in jeopardy. This is not a show any longer their lives will never be the same, and quite frankly how could they.

As far as how difficult Kate was with Jon. That was a factor, however a larger problem was there and it seems that viewers have not picked up on it yet. Jon time to grow up- what is all this I am only 33 and I dont know what I want for the rest of my life. Hey when you got married it was for better or worse, and as difficult as life is sometimes I think you copped out. It was so much easier to do that than to stand on your own two feet and make some necessary changes so that your voice was heard,
Kate also has many issues but afte being married for 26 years raising 3 children the added stress of a divorce for a member of the family and the added burden of taking on my husbands families needs does not ever give me the right to say it’s to hard it’s not what i thought it was going tobe, i want out! YOU MADE THIS DISTASTER NOW YOU AND KATE NEED TO FIX IT!
Stop making it about the money now, if it truly is about the kids then make it about the kids.They deserve better, you deserve better and you should respect each other more. GOD BLESS YOU ALL

I decided to stop watching the Gosselin saga; too depressing. I do however, wish them the best in sorting through their troubles and perhaps find a way to make it work. To see how happy they used to be and to see them now is heart wrenching. I would like to see them try to get past the hurts (BTDT; I know it’s xtremely hard), and counsel with a professional to try to get their special love back. If they BOTH want to it can be done; but it’ll take a LOT of work and forgiveness. I really enjoy watching the show and the snippets of their lives it reveals. Be aware that what you see is only a small portion of what goes on in their family. They are not filmed 24/7. If Kate shows her frustration and anger at Jon in so public a manner don’t you think he may have caused it. He appears to be very immature and has yet to show himself to be a man. I used to love this show, I was amazed at how organized they appeared, and yes, I knew early on who wore the pants in this family. However, what once was entertainment, is now a sad sad situation. It goes to show how money can change people, or at least bring out those negative qualities some try so hard to hide. I don’t watch this show anymore, it’s just too sad. I hope and pray that Jon and Kate can find it in their hearts to do what is right for their kids.
