I know you were all on the edge of your seat awaiting the news about whether Kara DioGuardi would be returning to American Idol. Seems fourth judge Kara DioGuardi will in fact be sitting at the Idol judges’ table again in the upcoming season.

A source told EOnline, “Her deal is done. There are no ifs, ands or buts. Done. She will be back.”

Of course, there has been no official confirmation of Kara DioGuardi’s return to American Idol, but the show begins shooting a new season of auditions next week.

Does that mean we’ll be getting the scoop on Paula Abdul’s return soon?
