Journeyman Fans Try to Save Canceled Series – With Rice

Remember when crazed “Jericho” fans saved the show by sending oodles of peanuts to the network powers-that-be? Newly canceled “Journeyman” fans hope to save the series by doing the same – but with rice.
Two fan campaigns (SaveJourneyman.net and SaveJourneyman.funurl.com) are asking fans to save the show by sending Rice-a-Roni to NBC. SaveJourneyMan.net says that “All indications are that NBC doesn’t want to cancel this show. They love it. They just can’t justify keeping it on the schedule. Let’s see if we can give them that justification.”
To which I think – yeah, right… Rice-a-Roni is going to save a show. Then again, look how well the peanut campaign worked in saving “Jericho.” It could happen.

I hope NBC executives rot in the fiery pits of hell for canceling this show. I hope their children are stolen in the night and castrated with a spork in an aquarium of leeches, and then salt is poured on their wounds. Without my weekly fix of Kevin McKidd, I won’t smile anymore.
