Nearly 60 million votes were cast for the finale of “So You Think You Can Dance” - and Joshua Allen was named the winner of SYTYCD.

Joshua Allen, 19, was the first So You Think You Can Dance winner with a hip-hop background - and he’s an untrained dancer.

Joshua Allen won So You Think You Can Dance and took home the $100,000 prize as well as a role in the upcoming film “Step It Up 3-D.”

Joshua Allen commented during the final moments of So You Think You Can Dance: “Never let anybody tell you can’t do anything. No matter what you do, you can always go far. the sky is the limit. Don’t let amybody tell you can’t do anything. Because God is the control. And with God you can do anything.”

CONGRATS JOSH! I have been pulling for him the entire season!! He is so strong, and talented. I LOVE HIM, and he should be very proud. I had the finale set to tape on my DVR, and my F**CKING husband changed the channel at the last 10 (TEN) minutes of taping. I WAS SOOOO pissed!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am 35, and threw a tantrum!!! I have not missed one episode, and he ended up erasing it. CONGRATS JOSH…you deserve your new crown. You are not supposed to go to bed mad at your spouse, but I will tonight.

Joshua, you worked so hard in your younger days to realize your dream. This is just the beginning for you. Your dancing delighted my whole family and we are so happy that you landed in the top spot. You definitely belong there even among your amazing fellow dancers. Our only sadness is that Katee wasn’t there in the top two with you. She was amazing as well.

joshua you worked so hard to win i think confort should have went to the top four with you , twitch,courtney,katie.
