People who complain about Kate as a mother seriously have no idea what the stress of 8 kids can do to you. I’m not even a mother yet, but I can COMPLETELY understand why she is the way she is. If Kate acted any other way, her household would legit be a zoo. The kids would be out of control and would end up seriously hurting themselves… The kids are very well-behaved and Kate has a lot to do with it. If she was really a bad mother, her children would not like her. About the Korean thing, her kids are adorable but they don’t look like Kate at all and I guarantee you she notices… I don’t know about you but I think that everyone wants to be something they’re not. I wanted to be Brazilian haha.. but I believe some people are way to judgmental and you have no reason to be. If you would take offense with one of your kids saying they wish they were of a different race then you have self esteem issues.

kate is the best mother those 8 kids could ask for
why don’t you try it? and what mother doesn’t get stressed out.
and speaking as a half filipino with a white mom, kate was just saying that she loves the asian look of her kids, and probably wants to look like their mother. i think kate is great, and i love jon as well.

I missed the Oprah episode. But, I watch Jon&Kate almost every week, they make me smile. I am a solo parent of 2, a toddler and a teen. If I’m having a rough day,which happens more often than I’d like (teenagers), I turn on the show and my mood is lifted. If they can get through thier day with all the demands of thier life, than Ican get through mine! Watching Jon&Kate with thier kids, makes my kids lives better. Thankyou Gosselin family for sharing your experiences. AND HEY HOWARD GET A LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dan and I love their show! Kate might be controlling and firm but when you have that many kids you have to be. I always tell Dan, that John and Kate even each other out. They are a good team and they have great kids!!!

I cant believe I missed that show! I love, love them and their show. My daughter is expecting her first baby and his name is going to be Aaden! Love all the kids but Aaden is my fav. I am in love with John! Dont worry I’m not a psycho. He is hysterical the way he is with Kate. She is from what I can see a good mom. Loving but at the same time she makes them all mind. Including John. lol I’ve been looking for a place on the computer to watch a re-run of the Oprah show. I only missed it because I was sleeping because I broke my back and needed the rest. I will be very sad when the day comes that John and Kate plus eight goes off the air. Good luck to you and your family. My daughter and I look forward to the show every time it is on. All your kids are just beautiful. My husband is over seas on active duty and when I am having a bad day because I miss him, watching you makes my day a whole lot brighter. I hope to see you for a long time but at the same time please dont let this experience ruin you great family. Good luck to you all!
