John Mayer and Minka Kelly were so far under the radar that no one even noticed they broke up!

The word is that the musician and “Friday Night Lights” star broke up a month ago.

Us magazine is reporting that a source said, “John initiated the split. He just wasn’t ready to commit to Minka or to anyone.”

Despite the Minka Kelly/John Mayer break up, the couple have still been spotted together recently – she showed up to a recent Mayer concert, plus the two have been seen dining out.

Looks like they are “just friends” now. Neither of their reps would comment on the split.
