Wow! American Idol top 36 finalist Joanna Pacitti has been disqualified from the competition and is out – she has been replaced by Felicia Barton.

Our first American Idol scandal, Joanna Pacitti was reportedly disqualified to “avoid the appearance of impropriety.”

As you may or may not have known, Joanna Pacitti has ties with American Idol, with rumors buzzing that she has a private relationship with one of the companies that oversees American Idol, 19 Management.

Felicia Barton, 26, will take Joanna Pacitti’s place in the top 36.

A Fox press release making the rounds this morning said, “It has been determined that Joanna Pacitti is ineligible to continue in the competition.”
