In an attempt to ramp Jimmy Fallon up for his big TV debut as host of “Late Night,” Jimmy Fallon will first appear in his new hosting gig online.
Jimmy Fallon takes over for Conan O’Brien next year when O’Brien makes the move to the Tonight show (filling Jay Leno’s vacancy). “Late Night” producer Lorne Michaels said the Internet shows will allow Jimmy Fallon to ease into the job, where he’ll appear online for several months prior to taking over on TV.
