This story seems completely insane to me – the general manager for the Green Bay, Wisconsin Fox affiliate said yesterday that he would take Giants football player Eli Manning’s favorite show off the air while the Giants play there this weekend.

Eli Manning’s favorite show? Seinfeld.

So, good natured Jerry Seinfeld is stepping in to fix the situation.

Jerry Seinfeld told the New York Post:

“You think I’m going to take that sitting down? I’m going to send Eli a complete collection of Seinfeld DVDs and a partial collection of Hogan’s Heroes for inspiration!

I’m dispatching George Costanza to be the new traveling secretary for the Packers.”
