Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy are engaged – after Kennedy popped the question publicly during an onstsage performance.

According to reports, Jamie Kennedy was performing at the Laugh Factory in Long Beach, California Saturday when he brought Jennifer Love Hewitt onstage – someone in the audience yelled out, “Marry her!” so he got down on one knee and proposed.

But was it all a joke? Jennifer Love Hewitt accepted and the crowd gave a standing ovation.
