Jennifer Lopez will take on executive producer duties for an ABC series based on her romantic comedy “Maid in Manhattan.”

The “Main in Manhattan” TV series will be an hour-long comedy-drama. If you don’t recall the 2002 film starring Jennifer Lopez and Ralph Fiennes, it’s a case of mistaken identify for Lopez - who is a working single mom (who works as a maid), mistaken for a wealthy socialite by Fiennes’ character.

The TV series will be slightly different than the movie, focusing more on the maid’s relationships with her co-workers.
