Wow. American Idol finalist and Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson’s mother, Darnell Hudson Donerson, 57, was found dead at her home in Chicago. Another body, believed to be Jennifer Hudson’s brother, Jason, was also found dead at the residence.

Jennifer Hudson’s mother and brother were apparently shot dead this afternoon and discovered by a cousin who lived nearby.

According to Chicago Police spokeswoman Monique Bond, they believe the shooting was related to a domestic disturbance.

A 7-year-old child was also reported missing – an all points bulletin has been issued for a boy, who is believed to be Jennifer Hudson’s 7-year-old nephew.
