Jennifer Hudson and baby boy are doing great! Jennifer Hudson gave birth to baby boy David Daniel Otunga Jr. on August 10. This is the first baby for Hudson and fiance David Otunga.

Jennifer Hudson’s rep confirmed the baby boy news, saying, “The baby is beautiful and perfect. His parents are ecstatic.”

The former American Idol never even confirmed she was pregnant, though naturally blogs and tabloids speculated about a Hudson baby bump.

Jennifer Hudson sadly lost her mother, brother and nephew in October 2008 – they were tragically murdered.

So wonderful to hear of good news for Hudson with a new baby!
