Who would’ve thought that “The Office” star Jenna Fischer would have been turned down for “Dancing with the Stars?”

Jenna Fischer tried to get on “Dancing with the Stars” during the first season of “The Office,” but didn’t get very far with the show’s producers.

According to Jenna Fischer, “They wouldn’t take my call. I had a dance background, I grew up doing ballet… My people called and I tried to use all of my connections and they wouldn’t see me, so I was rejected from ‘Dancing With The Stars.’”

Why did “Dancing with the Stars” reject Jenna Fischer? It’s not entirely clear, but Fischer obviously didn’t let it ruin her life – she certainly did just fine without the dance competition.
