Janet Jackson’s musical tribute to Michael Jackson will happen during her appearance at the VMA show opening on Sunday, September 13 at 9 p.m.
Russell Brand will host the 2009 VMAs. Beyonce, Jay-Z, Lady Gaga, Green Day, Pink, Taylor Swift and Muse are all set to perform, with Twilight’s Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner on hand to show a new trailer for “New Moon.”
