Is a Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge wedding the next step after Jamie Lynn’s recent pregnancy announcement? Maybe. Maybe not.

Casey Aldridge’s Uncle Odus told People magazine:

“They may or may not [get married]. I hope they will stick it out and get married for the child’s sake and their sake, but if they’re not in love and it was just a fantasy, they don’t need to make the same mistake twice.”

Casey Aldridge is laying low when it comes to speaking with the media right now. So low, in fact, no one has grabbed that all-important sound bite. Aldridge can rest at ease on that statutory rape charge, however.

The Mississippi DMV confirmed that Casey Aldridge is 18, so he’ll dodge the felony charge.
