James Franco, Anne Hathaway: Oscar Hosts!

It’s official. James Franco and Anne Hathaway will serve as Oscar hosts. The confirmation comes from the Academy Awards’ Twitter account: “@TheAcademy: OFFICIAL: James Franco & Anne Hathaway to host #Oscars – Tweet them your advice!”
Why not? They’re young. They’re charming. They’re talented. Did I mention they’re young?
The Oscars are definitely trying to skew things a bit younger with the announcement of James Franco and Anne Hathaway as hosts, and while I’m not jumping up and down over the pairing, I’ll still tune in to see what they do with the awards show.
At this point, is there nothing James Franco can’t (or won’t) do?
The Academy Awards airs on February 27. You may recall Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin hosted the Oscars last year, with mixed reviews.
