The world mourns the death of another talented person - singer/songwriter Isaac Hayes died today. Isaac Hayes is dead at age 65.

Isaac Hayes was a driving force in the music industry, and is perhaps best known for his “Theme From Shaft.”

Isaac Hayes was found unresponsive at home next to the treadmill by his wife. He was pronounced dead about an hour later at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis.

Isaac Hayes’ cause of death has not been revealed.

Isaac Hayes is also known as the voice of Chef on TV’s “South Park,” though he left the show due to a conflict with his Scientology beliefs.
