Is Calista Flockhart leaving Brothers and Sisters? That’s on a lot of Brothers & Sisters’ fans minds after seeing the dramatic wedding scene from last night’s episode (episode 4×10, “Nearlyweds” in the video clip above).
Is Calista Flockhard leaving Brothers and Sisters? Does this require a spoiler alert?
I don’t know, really.
With a storyline for Kitty this year that’s involved cancer and the many ups and downs of her health, collapsing on the beach during Justin and Rebecca’s wedding doesn’t bode well for her character.
While I haven’t seen any concrete spoilers about whether Calista Flockhart is leaving Brothers and Sisters, I have to guess no.
Flockhart is a main player on the series and one that I see going the distance. Why would they kill her off the show?
Then again, we’ll have to wait until January 2010, episode 11 before we see if there will be a death write-off for Calista Flockhart or not.
What do you think? This is, indeed, a major cliffhanger!
Major wedding drama though – Calista Flockhart’s Kitty reading E.E. Cummings’ “I Carry Your Heart With Me” before collapsing and Justin performing CPR? My heart just sank.

It is possible that Justin will save her, as he saved a boy the night before. Two CPRs in 2 days and he is failing med school. This might be the thing that gets him on track. Saul said, “you have time to fix the grades, it isn’t too late”. I think that Justin will get into the news somehow and the school will back him up. I think Calista will probably die. Stinks because she is a great character. Maybe Robert will let the brother and his hubby adopt the son.

More likely the gay couple would adopt Kitty’s son. But, why wouldnt the Senator keep him? It doesnt seem probable that Kitty will leave since they cant replace a sister for which the show is written. I guess stars on shows fair better with cancer than people in the real world.
